Unimon Terms of Service

Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Unimon platform (the 'Platform'), which is operated by Alma Labs ('Company', 'we', or 'us'), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (the 'Terms') and our Privacy Policy (collectively, the 'Agreement').
Eligibility (Age and Ability to Use)
You must be at least 18 years old to access or use Unimon. The Platform is intended solely for adult users.
  • 18+ Only: You must be at least 18 years old to access or use Unimon.
  • Legal Capacity: You also represent that you have the full legal capacity and authority to agree to these Terms.
Wallet-Based Access and Security
Unimon does not require a traditional account or registration. Instead, you will access the Platform by connecting a compatible cryptocurrency wallet.
  • Non-Custodial Wallet: Unimon does not require a traditional account or registration.
  • Account Responsibility: You are responsible for all activities that occur under your wallet address in connection with Unimon.
NFT Transactions and Crypto Payments
Unimon is a blockchain-based game and platform involving non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and cryptocurrency transactions.
  • Blockchain Transactions: When you participate in the Unimon Platform, you understand that any transaction will be executed on the Ethereum blockchain.
  • Payments and Gas Fees: Transactions on Unimon often require payment of cryptocurrency (e.g., ETH) to purchase or mint NFTs.
Fees and Taxes
We may charge fees for certain interactions on Unimon (for example, a fee included in the NFT mint price, or a percentage of token swaps).
  • Platform Fees: We may charge fees for certain interactions on Unimon.
  • Third-Party Fees: In addition to fees we charge, using Unimon may involve third-party fees that we do not control.
User Conduct and Prohibited Activities
We strive to maintain a fair and safe environment on Unimon. By using the Platform, you agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:
  • Illegal Activities: Do not use Unimon for any unlawful purpose or in furtherance of illegal activities.
  • Evasion of Restrictions: Do not use the Platform if you are barred from doing so under the laws of your jurisdiction.
Ownership and Intellectual Property Rights
All content, materials, and technology on or underlying the Unimon Platform are owned by or licensed to Alma Labs or its affiliates.
  • Platform Content: All content, materials, and technology on or underlying the Unimon Platform are owned by or licensed to Alma Labs or its affiliates.
  • NFTs and License to NFT Content: When you properly purchase or otherwise acquire an official Unimon NFT from us, you will own the NFT token itself.
Third-Party Services and Links
Using Unimon will involve third-party software or services, such as your blockchain wallet (e.g., MetaMask, Uniswap Wallet, or others).
  • External Wallets and Tools: Using Unimon will involve third-party software or services.
  • Third-Party Links: The Platform or its documentation may contain links to third-party websites or resources.
Assumption of Risk (Blockchain and NFTs)
By using Unimon, you acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies, and NFTs.
  • Volatility of Value: The value of blockchain assets (including ETH and Unimon NFTs) can be extremely volatile. Note that $UMN is not a liquid asset but rather a utility token used on the NFT minted for hatching purposes.
  • Blockchain and Technical Risks: Transactions in cryptocurrencies are conducted on distributed ledger platforms (like Ethereum).
Game Lifecycle and Future Development
Unimon is designed around a specific gameplay event known as 'The War'. After the conclusion of 'The War', Unimon may still be used as PFP, but there is no expected continued development of the game.
Disclaimer of Warranties
Unimon and all related services, content, and software are provided 'AS IS' and 'AS AVAILABLE', without any warranty of any kind, either express or implied.
  • Implied Warranties: We specifically disclaim any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.
  • No Guarantee of Error-Free Operation: We do not warrant that Unimon (or any portion of the Platform) will be secure, uninterrupted, or free of errors.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Alma Labs (or its directors, officers, employees, agents, partners, or suppliers) be liable to you for any:
  • Indirect or Consequential Damages: This includes any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages of any kind.
  • Specific Losses: We are not liable for any damages resulting from errors, mistakes, or inaccuracies of any content on the Platform.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Alma Labs, its parent company, subsidiaries, and affiliates, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, and advisors.
  • Your Use of the Platform: Any use or misuse of Unimon under your wallet or by someone using your wallet (with or without your permission).
  • Breach of Agreement: Your violation of any provision of these Terms or the Privacy Policy.
Dispute Resolution (Arbitration and Class Action Waiver)
Please read this section carefully. It requires you to arbitrate disputes with Alma Labs and limits the way you can seek relief from us.
  • Informal Resolution: We encourage you to contact us first to try to resolve any concern or dispute informally.
  • Agreement to Arbitrate: If we cannot resolve a dispute informally, you and Alma Labs agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to this Agreement or your use of the Unimon Platform shall be resolved through final and binding arbitration.
Governing Law
Except to the extent that federal law (such as the Federal Arbitration Act) applies, this Agreement and any dispute arising out of or related to it or the Unimon Platform will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, USA.
Changes to These Terms
Alma Labs reserves the right to modify or update these Terms of Service at any time, in its sole discretion.
Miscellaneous
This Agreement (which includes these Terms of Service and the Unimon Privacy Policy, along with any additional guidelines or rules we post for specific activities) constitutes the entire agreement between you and Alma Labs regarding your use of Unimon.
